POWDER BROWS
Powder Brows are a style of cosmetic tattoo that is completely customizable depending on the desired outcome of each individual. They can be designed to look perfectly filled and shaped or just a soft touch of colour to add depth to already well shaped brows. An Ombre style can be achieved with this treatment.  The end result will have a powdered effect and is perfect for those that struggle filling in their brows or love the feeling of a fresh eyebrow tint.
The results will last 12 - 24 months before needing a refresh, this means there is less commitment and can be altered to suit new fashion or lifestyle trends. This style can be performed on all skin types.
COMBINATION BROWS
A combination of both featherstroke (also known as microblading) and powdering can be done to create more depth to your brows. This is well suited to those with gaps in the brow that cannot be disguised with one style alone but is not suited for thick or oily skin types.
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
The treatment will take approximately 2-2.5 hours. This includes numbing, paperwork, eyebrow mapping and of course the tattooing. It is also advised you attend your appointment without makeup and comfortable clothes. You will be supplied with the aftercare cream and advice on the day of your treatment.
WHAT'S THE COST?
Powder brows are priced at $500, a combination of both powdering and feathering can be done and is priced at $600. Due to demand, a deposit of $100 is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will contribute to the overall balance of your treatment. Please also note that the booking deposit is not refundable. If you need to reschedule your appointment please advise so at least 48 hours in advance. Your first reschedule will not forfeit your deposit.
AM I ELIGIBLE FOR THIS?
You can not receive cosmetic tattooing services if any of the below applies to you:
Pregnant or Breastfeeding
Under 18 year of age
Skin conditions in the area to be treated such as eczema, sunburn, psoriasis.
Autoimmune disease
Blood transmissible conditions (HIV, Hepatitis)
Diabetes
Receiving treatment for cancer (Doctor's clearance is necessary.)
Keloid scarring
Cosmetic injections in the brow area within 2 weeks of treatment.
Use of topical and oral acne treatments.
Use of retinol treatments within 4 weeks of treatment date.
Microdermabrasion, chemical peels or micro-needling within 4 weeks of the treatment date.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
Aftercare is very important if you want best results from your treatment. It is rare to suffer from swelling or bruising after receiving cosmetic tattoo treatments and you can return to normal daily activities immediately after. Please note that the colour of your brows will be darker at first and will flake and fade during the healing process. You will need to avoid soaking your brows during the healing process, you will also need to avoid any activity that will result in excess sweating or sun exposure. it is not recommended to wear makeup around the brow area during the healing process.
TOUCH UP APPOINTMENTS.
Touch up treatments are generally required to achieve desired results in permanent makeup and will be done 5-8 weeks after you initial treatment. A fee of $50 is charged for touch ups. Touch up appointments can be booked at your initial appointment or online. If you fail to attend your booked touch up payment will be required in full before booking another.
